Domestic Goddess

Move over Nigella and Martha. Little V just loves household items such as the dustpan and broom, vacuum cleaner, fridge and most of all - the dishwasher. I really can't understand the fascination with whitegoods but as soon as V hears the sound of dishes clinking together as I either load or unload the dishes, she makes an instant beeline for the dishwasher, crawling at the speed of lightning lest she miss the action! Similarly, the minute the fridge door is opened (it's a bit creaky), she's there - pushing me out of the way, rummaging through the shelves and protesting loudly when the fridge door is shut.
She'd better not get too enamoured with these items just yet - there'll be plenty of time for that later (unfortunately)!!
