Rainbow Beach #2

Parents behaving badly.

(The kids won't be seeing these pics!!)

On Saturday night after putting the kids to bed, T and I had the opportunity to enjoy that Cuban cigar and a bottle of Remy Martin VSOP champagne cognac (a gift).
T had great difficulty getting started with the cigar. I instructed him to bite one end off the cigar (as I have seen in movies) however despite my best efforts, he insisted on trying to puff through the sealed end of the
cigar! Of
course it wouldn't light up - simple physics will tell you that you can't inhale through a blocked tube! After multiple attempts, he took my advice and soon he was
smoking his prized cigar. Like a pro.
One puff had me in a coughing fit.
The Remy smelled delicious but after one teeny sip, my mouth was on fire and so I didn't have any more.

Whilst we both had fun mucking around (and I'm sure our neighbours thought we were just the biggest dags), we both agreed that smoking is a disgusting habit - stinky breath, stinky clothes, dull tastebuds etc. no matter how expensive cigars are.
We later had absolutely scrumptious local oysters while the watching the Poms getting flogged by the Wallabies.

Alyssa: Your photos are hilarious!Developing a smoking habit in your mid thirties is leaving it a bit too late me thinks!
Hilarious?? You mean we don't look cool??!!
No seriously, it was a funny night particularly when I found Tru trying to suck through the closed end of the cigar. He really enjoyed it - mouth billowing with smoke, he wanted me to take shots of him from every angle. My favourite is the close up of his face covered in a cloud of smoke. Just ridiculous!
We will not be taking up smoking thank you.
Yung: Tru, can you look anymore refined?? I mean, with your stoned look and old football jersey...for crying out loud, you were suppose to be enjoying a celebratory cuban cigar...not a bloody yobbo bong !!..hahah
